Beverly Green
Beverly Green is a highly experienced entertainment and music lawyer and a founding partner of Green & Green, where she currently leads the firm’s entertainment practice. In her more than 38 years of practicing entertainment law, Beverly has come to represent GRAMMY award-winning talent, including artists, songwriters, and composers in major recording, publishing and film/tv deals. Beverly also works with and represents top producers, studios and filmmakers, in negotiating deals worldwide, involving virtually every major record label (including EMI, Sony, Universal, and Warner Bros.) and major film studio (including Sony, TriStar, Universal, Paramount, Warner Bros., Disney-Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Coppola), as well as independent studios and labels. Beverly has licensed music for just about everything, from major motion pictures and television, including Mad Men (2015) and Big Little Lies (2017), to commercials for Dior, Xbox, and Levis, to video games, internet, theatre, books, and even toys, the Olympics, and Major League Baseball.

Background
Beverly received her Juris Doctorate as the Valedictorian of her law school class of 1979, and has since been awarded the Top Martindale-Hubbell “AV” Rating as an Entertainment Attorney, and is in the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers, and “Who’s Who in Entertainment”. In addition, Beverly has been an associate professor at San Francisco State University, where she originated and taught “The Legal Aspects of the Music/Recording Industry”, and has served four two-year terms as a Governor on the Board of Governors, and also as Legal Counsel, and on the Membership, Nominating, and Advocacy Committees, for the San Francisco Chapter of NARAS (the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences), and has been a sought after guest speaker on the topics of Music Law, Copyright, Publishing and Licensing for CLA (California Lawyers for the Arts), the State Bar of California, Intellectual Property Law Section, the ABA (American Bar Association), Entertainment and Sports Law Section, the SFIPLA (San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association), and NARAS, and has been a guest speaker at UC Hastings and the USF Law School, Entertainment Law Society. Beverly has also published articles regarding music business and legal issues in the NARAS-GRAMMY® Journal, the Entertainment Law Reporter, the Entertainment, Publishing and the Arts Handbook, and in OnStage Magazine and Electronic Musician.
