Our Real Property Practice

We help clients acquire space and convert that space to modern uses such as server facilities, music studios and fulfillment warehouses. We won a California Appellate case involving zoning, land use, CEQA and environmental compliance, Neighbor Disputes and Planning - Zoning Appeals.[1]

We prepare, negotiate, litigate, defend and enforce leases and help our clients purchase, evaluate, maintain, and sell real property to fit many different business and personal plans and revenue models.

Preparation of agreements beyond the basic forms used by Real Estate Agents many times is required to make a deal happen.  Use of a home for business can require a permit.  Planning officers refuse to issue a permit and the owner needs to appeal.  We have expertise in these and similar scenarios.

Remember, it is always preferable to seek legal counsel at the beginning of discussions about an oral or written agreement for: purchase and lease agreements, partnerships, corporations, LLC and other business forms that own real property.  It is also prudent to have a good architect to get through zoning and planning issues.
